Sunny, windy, 42 degrees and No Snow....I'm going golfing. Even though it was raining yesterday, it's dried out pretty good for cart path only.

With five (5) tees you can choose from Blues 6,600yd/72.1/135 down to Reds 4,790yd/69.9/125 on this Par 36/36 rolling tree-lined layout. I chose the Blues and stayed short of trouble, but long irons got a workout. Mostly a straight forward layout from what you see from the tee box and many uphill approach shots to mess with your yardage.

Front 9 #2 hole, Par 4 at 420yds with a RH dogleg will be your first big test. Hit 220yds, left of center and you'll have a chance to see and take aim at the green. The #8 a downhill 200yd Par 3 is a rare view, hitting down to a green, so enjoy it. The #9 a 405yd Par 4 with a hcp 2 has you hitting into a hill and then 2-3 extra club required to hit that elevated green.

The Back 9 #11 hole is a short 490yd Par 5 with a double water crossing to an island green, protects itself very well. The #13 395yd Par 4 is narrow tree-lined fairway with a front trap protecting its hcp 1 rating, very well. #15 405yd dogleg left needs 220yd tee in the center to get around the inside corner tree if you want a Par 4 on this hole. The #16 135yd is a big downhill Par 3 that has you guessing how the wind pushes your ball with those 50 - green side trees. The 535yd #18 Par 5 is a great finishing hole if you leave yourself an125yd approach shot. This puts you on a flat bluff area that overlooks the large green with a possibility of birdie or easy par.

I look forward to returning in more idea/green conditions, seeing what this track really looks like. Enjoyed shooting 39/39 w/33 putts and paying $54 to play golf and not shoveling snow in Michigan.
